Dr. Patrick Crowley in Conversation about Alt-Ac Careers

Patrick Crowley, Associate Curator of European Art, Cantor Arts Center, in conversation with Classics grad students moderated by Guoshi Li

Join us for a conversation about alt-ac careers with the fabulous Dr. Patrick Crowley, who is a specialist in classical antiquity and Associate Curator of European Art at Stanford’s Cantor Art Center. Patrick joined Stanford in April this year, leaving his role as assistant professor of Art History and the College at the University of Chicago. In both roles, Patrick has worked on classical art, sarcophagi and portraiture, aesthetics and visual culture. Guoshi Li will lead a conversation with Patrick Crowley about his innovative approaches to research and education, and about any advice he would give to PhD students graduating in the next few years. There will be opportunities for attendees to ask questions.
