Kathryn Morgan's talk, entitled "When Worlds Collide: Parsing Immortality in Pindar's Olympian 2" will take place on Monday, March 6 in Professor A.-E. Peponi's seminar ( Rethinking the History of Lyric-- Room 110-112 ) . Faculty and students interested in Professor Morgan's talk are welcome to attend.

Kathryn Morgan is Professor of Classics at UCLA. She has published widely on Plato and Pindar.  Her latest book is Pindar and the Construction of Syracusan Monarchy in the Fifth Century B.C. Oxford, 2015.
