Two members of the Classics Department have been named among the 25 Fellows of the Stanford Humanities Center for the year 2015-16. During the academic year, Fellows are able to pursue independent writing and research while participating in lectures, workshops, and seminars.
Prof. Christopher Krebs will be pursuing a project called "Julius Caesar, Man of Letters, and the Roman Republic of Ideas" and Prof. Reviel Netz will write on "Space, Scale, and Canon: Parameters of Ancient Literary Practice."
