Allen Huang

co-terminal Master’s degree in Language and Literature in 2011

Allen graduated with a co-terminal Master’s degree in Language and Literature in 2011. He wrote his undergraduate senior thesis on hospitality and identity in the Odyssey, specifically on the formulaic questions that hosts ask their guests, and their responses. His interests include Homer and epic poetry, history, mythology, ancient religion, and Indo-European linguistics. Allen is currently a student of law at the UC Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall), and will receive his J.D. in spring 2015. Upon his graduation, Allen will be working for a law firm in Irvine that specializes in business litigation. In his spare time, he enjoys dancing the waltz and polka.
