Simeon Pogue
Simeon is the department’s Operations and Events Coordinator. He manages logistics for departmental events, including conferences, guest lectures, and community gatherings, while also overseeing visitor travel, catering, publicity, and onsite support. He leads website maintenance and content development to highlight faculty and student achievements and supports communications projects such as newsletters. Simeon also assists with finance and operations, processing reimbursements, coordinating building services, and serving as a key contact for faculty, students, and visitors. Prior to joining Classics, he was a Neighborhood Program Coordinator in Stanford’s Office of Residential Education, where he managed student engagement initiatives and supported multi million-dollar neighborhood budgets.
