Thea De Armond

Thea De Armond

Thea received her PhD in Classical Archaeology from Stanford University in 2016. She received her BA from Wesleyan University in College of Letters and in Archaeology in 2009 and completed the University of Pennsylvania's post-bacc program in Classics in 2010. She has excavated in Georgia, Romania, Bulgaria, and Greece. Her research interests include the history of archaeology (particularly, in central and eastern Europe), archaeological theory, culture "contact," and public archaeologies.
