PhD Candidate - Language and Literature

I am a graduate student on the language & literature track at Classics and Minor in Comparative Literature. Prior to Stanford I studied at the University of Padova, Bologna and Köln. Since the time of my bachelor thesis I have researched literary and historical-cultural aspects of the Hellenistic age. I am interested also in ancient texts and ecology studies, in literary theory, and in knowledge practices in antiquity. I am currently writing my doctoral dissertation about Hellenistic didactic poetry.
