I am a master’s student on the Language and Literature track of Stanford’s Classics Department. In 2019 I earned my B.A. with honors in Classical Studies from the University of California at Santa Cruz, where I began my research into satirized cultural aspects of the philosophical and intellectual elite in Ancient Greece. Currently, I am working to expand my understanding of and delve further into the intersection of historiography and satire. More broadly my interests include philology of the ancient Mediterranean, second-language acquisition, and the implications of Greek and Roman myth in modernity.
